A fairy tale of tomorrow. 8-year-old automaton girl Vasilisa lives in a habitation module at the edge of the Oort cloud. When her father remarries and brings a cruel stepmother and two spoilt stepsisters into her life, Vasilisa is cast out in search of the Afanasyev space station and its fabled mainframe Baba Yaga.
